Magaluf or Ibiza???? Advice needed!

Yeah thats what we were thinking, wouldnt fancy paying 30 euros getting in and then having to dish out 10 more for every drink :eek:

Have you been to Magaluf before then? I hear mixed reviews about it being all trashy and run down, is it true? Are the beaches nice etc?

Gangee see my post ^ for that, its usually more I'm afraid. The cheapest decent club was Eden which is usually around 35-40 entry then 8-10 euros a vodka and 8 euros for a small bottle of water.

Magaluf isn't really run-down I wouldn't say. It's just what it is, everyone wants to do the same thing (go out, get drunk, pull). The water park in Palma is good aswell.

Ibiza is by far the best clubbing paradise on the planet. It's expensive, but the bars are quite cheap/most people just buy loads of alcohol and drink in the rooms. That being said, most people on their first group holiday go to places like Magaluf and Malia, Ibiza's full of the more hardcore clubbers.

Definitely recommend Ibiza though, amazing place!

I have never been Ibiza but the reason for that is because the travel brochure said it was on average £9 a drink so if your not made of money its not a great idea.
I went Magaluf this year and it was great. BCM club is full of locals tho so watch out for that. Also you might wanna no that it is a "raw cock fest" so if your aim is to meet girls its not a good place to go.

What hotel was it? Look up Fiesta Jungla if you do go because thats well lively full of young people.

I have heard good things about Ibiza tho but the prices put me off unless you get really drunk before you go out, but you dont really wanna be doing that on holiday do you?

look up alpharooms on google cos i got my holiday for £302 to Maga this year which is obv well good and that was 3 of us girls sharing.

Why don't you just get a cheap flight to Amsterdam or Madrid or something and stay in a youth hostel (you can meet people so easily there).

Flight would be around £100 or less probably, and rooms can be like 15 euros/night.

i agree with the chavvyness of those places, all the people i know who went aren't the kind of people i would like to socialise with tbh.

It all depends on what you want from the holiday. Do you all have gfs or do you all want sexytime with randomers?!

I'm from the area, but not Southport itself. It's got its good points; the two delightful restaurants Michaels and Warehouse, for example. Delicious. I may have to flood KGV with nerve gas, however. Sorry.

Ibiza.

Been there many times.. on family holidays though and I've stayed in Magaluf.

Also, theres a lovely hotel about 10 mins walk into San Antoni in Ibiza, quite cheap as well. I think it's called the Gran Sol. :smile:

Magaluf doesn't compare, I hate it.
