Apparently, there's a substitution system in the UCAS track site, which I didn't know about until recently. So I switched one of my courses two times already. After doing that, I read the "Help" section and it says that applicants may only substitue one of their original choices once. But nothing really happened; UCAS didn't contact me and my switched choice still appears on the list.

What's up with this?
