Re: University of Glasgow blether threadPerhaps. It's my second year classes though.(Original post by Stefanb)
Isn't that like an induction?
Maybe this means I'm not allowed in Freshers' Week, even though it's my first year at Glasgow
I missed Freshers' Week last year ...

Re: University of Glasgow blether threadmmm I'm not too sure.. wouldn't make sense as freshers is really for you're first year at Glasgow uni and technically this is(Original post by ArcadiaHouse)

How many lectures? I've got 3 (1 for each class)

Re: University of Glasgow blether threadNot as "crazy" as Murano and nicer to live in.(Original post by G550NDH)
Whats your opinions on QM halls ? -
Re: University of Glasgow blether threadI don't think you're allowed actually, it has a question on the FAQ saying "I withdrew from uni last year, can I go again?" and it says only if you're repeating first year, so sounds unlikely. Could buy one and kid on you had no idea though?(Original post by ArcadiaHouse)

Did anyone do politics and can tell me if it's all right or not? Thinking of doing 1A to make up my last 20 credits. The only things that fit so far are politics and Celtic Civilisation

We had introductory lectures in Freshers' for our first year, and another one this year.
I hope I can go.
I suppose it doesn't matter really

Re: University of Glasgow blether threadThree, but might be more once they've updated class times for English Language.(Original post by Stefanb)

Tbh pretty much the only thing I actively took part in during Freshers' was the introductory lectures. I didn't go out at night at all. Made lots of friends and had a good wander round Fresher's fair getting free pens and learning about societies though
I WANT FREE PENS!!!!Dear Arcadia
Freshers week is organised by the SRC and I have copied them in. I do think that as a student new to Glasgow you will be very welcome to attend.
Regards.

Re: University of Glasgow blether thread
I'm so confused with this mycampus thing..
I got an email with my username and password..
I logged on, changed my password, I'm now trying to get onto the 'my registration' bit which is on the right handside, but it won't let me on??
When I click it opens a new tab and says 'contacting site' with 'if this takes longer than 10 seconds click here' which it does, so I click it and nothing happens and then after another couple of minutes it goes to an error page.. which says 'Failure of server APACHE bridge'
It did this yesterday too??
It does the same thing if I click on any of the other things like 'My Student Center' or 'My Personal Information'
Anyone have any ideas? -
Re: University of Glasgow blether threadHave you tried leaving it for longer than 10 seconds/using a different browser?(Original post by rmagee611)

TO GOOGLE CHROME.
(that is a different browser right?) -

If you were using Internet Explorer then you completely deserve the problems you've been having

How many lectures? I've got 3 (1 for each class)
