P2 Mock paper question
The question starts with f: x > e^(x-2) - 1, x is a Real number
Later it asks to prove that the equation f(x) = x has a root alfa in the interval (3,4)
I guess all i have to do is see if the sign changes.
But looking at the supplied answer I get confused:
f(x) = x > e^(x-2) -1 -x = 0
Where did the extra x come from????
