how could i forget akala...both his albums were really dope, and yeh grime street wasn't very good, he should've stayed to his old style rather than changing... his mixtape mc no1 was dope though.

Its a sub-genre for urvan music.. It originated mainly from areas in East London.. And with the help of pirate radios in North East London.. grew in popularity.. The music itself is a mixture of Uk garage, American Hip Hop, with the beats consisting primarily from electro and drum and bass

'A girl like me'? What's that? Not being funny, just curious.

Anyway, I always used to post in the hip hop society thread, don't you remember?

Yeah man, very true. I been to a few and you see all trypes of people. Not just kids with bad attitudes.

Go to a dubstep event, now that is diverse! You get rockers in dubstep raves just loving the music. I want to go to NY in July to one of their dubstep raves ... thats the best place for it. Plastician plays in NY alot.

GIGGS (dunno if you call him grime or uk hiphop but deserves a mention)
    Bashy
    Skepta
    Wretch 32
    Wiley

And I liked Roadside Gs before they dropped off, but I'm not really up to date with grime.

Dizzee and Kano are on another plane, it's as simple as that. If Wiley's lyrics were as good as his production, he'd join them.
