Gap year

How shall i go about stating a gap year? even tho the main reason for taking it was i never got into the course i wanted? shall i just say i took it to save money or do some work etc etc im going to state im a more mature individual yada yada any ideas please thanks

Hey, I took a gap year as well for that reason. My reasons were: wanted more work experience, save up money for university=less debt, want to go travelling and do some volunteer work :smile:

its up to you..its your year!! do whatever you want!! I took a gap year to gain furthur experience, confidence etc. They're not going to judge you for taking a gap year anyway, as long as you're being productive

If you didn't get into the uni you wanted to, just take a gap year. I'm taking two gap years and am applying to Cambridge for 2009 entry.

Don't ever lower your aspirations. :smile:
