Anyone else applied for Primary Education courses for next year yet? I'm applying to Sheffield Hallam, York St John, Huddersfield, Worcester and Bishop Grosseteste University College, Lincoln. Just waiting for my reference to be finished and 1 more open day to attend (Worcester tomorrow).
I've applied to Worcester, Sheffield Hallam, Bristol UWE, northampton and oxford brookes- although i got a rejection from sheff hallam yesterday : (
I thought Worcester was lovely though, if a little old!

I'm really looking forward to seeing Worcester tomorrow. If I like it then it's going to be my 5th choice but if not, I'm thinking of Northampton, Wolverhampton or Hull.
I am sending my application off next week, and thinking of applying to: Leeds Met, UWE, Nottingham Trent, Durham and Reading, specialising in either English or MFL.
Is anyone else applying to these uni's?
Has anyone visited Chichester uni/Manchester Met or know of anyone there, if so what is your opinion of it?
Lastly, what's everyones opinion on whether to undertake a four or three year programme?

Don't know about the uni but the place is lovely, I have relatives there and I really like Chichester.
As for the 3 or 4 year programme, if I hadn't already had 2 years of funding at uni (I dropped out of the course) I would have applied for 4 year primary teaching courses. But as I couldn't afford to I have applied for 3 year courses but surely a 4 year is course is better and more educational experience gained in it.

Fantastic uni, lovely place and very very good for teaching. I miss it a HELL of a lot and like a lot of ex-students say, the worst thing about Chi is having to leave it!
ive applied to Winchester, Kingston (have an interview on weds), chichester (interview 26th),and Canterbury Christ Church. Most of them are Primary Ed with Early Years specialism
got an interview letter for oxford brookes today, although as luck would have it its on the same day as my worcester interview so i've had to change it!
The bookes interview seems really scary; i have to teach people something!
and chicester is lovely by the way, my brother goes there!
Hey...the interview was really good, not as formal as i thought and the interviewers are so nice! havent found out yet...but the tutor seemed really happy with what i had to say...the english test was fiiiine just a few spellings, puntuation and grammar stuff! Just be confident and enthusiastic and you'll be fine
thank youu!! made me a bit less nervous now!
if its quite informal and there nice, thats doesnt sound as bad!
how did your presentation go?
do they just ask you basic questions in the interview like "why you want to be a teacher?" sorry with all the questions! lol.
