Accounting and Finance at Warwick -> AAA
Economics at Nottingham / UCL (if i get the offer!) -> A*AA

Predicted A*AA

Which is the better uni to go to regarding careers?

I spoke to CS recruiters and they said warwick is their preferred uni but UCL is the preferred of other BBs so it doesn't matter that much!

Thanks

Would you say theres a big difference between them or is there not much in it?

I would go for Notts personally. They get alot more kids into IB than york.

How about:
1. Warwick (38 points overall) - International Management
2. Bath (38 points overall) - Management
3. KCL (35 points & 766 at HL) - Business Management
4. Manchester (35 points & 665 at HL) - Management
5. Nottingham (32 points) - International Management

What would you guys recommend as my firm and insurance? I'm an international student by the way.

They'd all suffice. I'd personally say it goes Warwick > Notts = Bath > Manchester = KCL

But it's down to where you want to go really.

Hey guys,

Is it worth studying MSc Banking & International Finance at Cass? Currently an Econ 2nd year student at University of Manchester. In terms of internships, managed to make it to final rounds for a few BBs and finance companies, but nothing secured! After attending an Insight day and research, I have decided to pursue a career at The Bank of England. Personally, I feel my Econ degree hasn't done much in terms of learning finance related topics, aside from one or two modules.

Thanks

If you can make it to a masters at a target, even better.

But Cass MSc is a good gig to break in. At the end of the day, it's your choice what you want to do as a career. But tbf, Manchester is fine, if you could make it to last rounds then maybe just google up on polishing your technical knoweldge.

Deffo LSE. Consulting firms are much more difficult to get into than IB.
