Interview for medicine at St Andrews

hey everyone - i have received an email from st andrews about an interview for medicine on the 12th of November :frown:

As i am really really really really really really underprepared, can aanyone throw in any usefel tips for the interview??

You don't need loads of preparation - just make sure you know why you want to go to St Andrews :smile:

i had one at st andys last year (end of november i think they started interviewing that week though so we were all a bit uncertain too)

basically before the interview we got to read this article and think about it, then we were all taken into a room of about 10 interviewees with two peaople behind each interviewing desk. the interview was very informal i though and mainly just a chat, although i know people who had st andys interviews and they were quite bad. generally i would advise you to be chatty and smile. relax during the interview and you will come across better. also, get there in plenty time because you never know if there is going to be a problem on the roads/with the weather
