Agreed, and for almost exactly the same reasons, Kubica.

Some may not like this, but I'd like to see Vettel moving over to Mclaren in the near future. Kovi has been a bit of an anti-climax.

Oh good, i thaught id be the only one!

Vettel has astounded me all season, since getting the STR3 he has constantly scored points, got into q3, won a race, and been up there with the big boys, something noone expected really in that car.

Lewis i was expecting to be in contention for the world title and expected him to win, so as much as im impressed he won, vettel has made a bigger impression.

Hamilton or Massa will obviously win, but true F1 fans should be able to look further than mere winnings and see through to see the growing talent...

either Vettel: Most improved over the year, towards the end always out performed the car he was in.

or Kubica: Most consistent at the start of the season and if BMW didn't take the decision to put all there efforts in the '09 car then perhaps could've even been a challenger towards the end.

Vettel made a huge improvement and proved that he is right alongside Hamilton and Kubica as one of the best youngsters but Alonso with his second half of the season proved that he is still the best driver anywhere. So Alonso.

Perhaps we should turn it into a poll for "Best upcoming driver" and exclude Massa, Raikkonen, Hamilton, Alonso, etc.

Massa ovbiously, he won the most races and without his reliability woes and the pit problem at singapore he would of won it and been able to do the last few races on a bicycle.

Kubica. Hes improved so much this year and looks to be a challenger for the championship next year. 2009 will be a good year for Formula One

All have improved greatly.

Massa should've won the championship. He has dominated Brazil and Bahrain and shold've won at other races as well if it wasn't for some reliability problems.
