Luna was just such an interesting person in general
Tom Riddle - well without him there wouldn't be as much of a story! Plus he was charming and evil at the same time. His backstory is pretty fascinating.
Professor McGonagall - Simply because of her line in the last film "I've always wanted to use that spell!"

I keep checking my emails looking for the welcome email. (I've heard that if you registered on day 1 you'll get your welcome email first). Every time I see that I've got a new email I get excited and then disappointed Damn you Errol!
I find the Maurauders generation much more interesting than Harry and his associates. The use of flashbacks and the character history for Snape and Voldemort is also probably my favourite part of the later books.

Re: Your favourite Harry Potter character?
For sheer bad ass awesomeness: Bellatrix
Most developed/ Brilliant character HAS to be: Snape
Just cos I love him and he's ginger and I adore the way he says 'brilliant' also he brings a bit of light-heartedness to the trio: Ron
Although there's loads of other characters I love
Tbh I don't actually like harry that much.
Snape is my obvious one - just the way I was always wondering whose side he was actually on, and when I read back I'm always like "oh yeah, I get it now." And young Tom Riddle is interesting too. I actually like the "baddies" in HP, even better in the films. Bellatrix is portrayed brilliantly, she crazy! but brilliant. The Malfoys also, Draco really comes through in the final book, you really pity him, and Tom Felton does a great job in that. Lucius too, (especially when his wand is taken off him) though its just funny how he's always stupefied in the films.
Fred and George are always brilliant - perfect comic relief. But Harry does get a bit annoying after a while.
