Anyone know when Chamber of Secrets chapters are opening on Pottermore?
#GOCLAWS!
Is the whole PM with house ect still going on in this society? If so, I really need to do that!
I just finished reading the series (again) in two weeks.

Re: The Harry Potter Society III
I've been a potter fan for as long as I can remember - started reading the books when I was 11 - I let go of my pottermania however when life gradually took over, with college and uni etc.
Anyway, I recently watched the movies again, and have been re-reading the books for the umpteenth time this summer, and I stumbled across pottermore .... now I have signed up, but I really don't know how to use this thing! I hear I am to be sorted via the sorting hat, but how does one even get there. Is the site incredibly confusing or am I just not in chime? -

Ah, I see. But it seems impossible to get past chapter 1! -
Re: The Harry Potter Society IIIDid that - but nada. Keeps taking me to the end of the chapter and that's it *sigh*(Original post by Na-dia)
You need to discover the Privet Drive street information (in something new from J.K. Rowling). I think you need to click the street sign or something that can be clicked and then click next. -
Re: The Harry Potter Society IIIShould be the next button there too I think. What house did you get into?(Original post by Student 01)
Did that - but nada. Keeps taking me to the end of the chapter and that's it *sigh* -

Re: The Harry Potter Society III
my house is slytherin
i'd like to take the 8 compulsory subjects (potions, defence against the dark arts, charms, transfiguration, astronomy, herbology, history of magic and flying) and also care of magical creatures and divination.
Thanks
On another note, I've been rereading the books and a few questions have come to mind.
In The Prisoner of Azkaban, did Snape know that Wormtail was alive and was the real Potter's secret keeper and spying for Voldemort? Because he was so determined to get Sirius kissed by the dementors and so angry when he escaped... I was just wondering if he knew the truth.
If he did think that Sirius was guilty, then I think his reasons for wanting him kissed were
1) To avenge Lily
2) To gain Voldemort's trust, as Sirius told Wormtail the Death Eaters were looking for him and were not happy with him because it was his fault that Voldemort was destroyed. If Snape thought it was really Sirius that lead to the destruction of Voldemort, then he would've thought that being the one to catch Sirius would put him in Voldemort's favour
3) Personal glory at being the one to catch Sirius and receiving the Order of Merlin
4) To take revenge on Sirius for the way he bullied him and nearly got him killed
However, according to Sirius, the Death Eaters seemed to know that Wormtail was working for them, so surely Snape should've known too? If he did know that Sirius was innocent, then he still has reasons 3 and 4 for wanting him to be kissed, but these reasons seem rather petty by themselves... Also, Dumbledore spent the majority of The Prisoner of Azkaban thinking that Sirius was guilty, so does that mean Snape kept it a secret from him? Why would he do that when he was supposed to be looking after Harry? Another reason for him to want Sirius kissed despite knowing he was innocent might've been to gain Voldemort's trust as the one who killed James Potter's best friend and potential ally of Harry, but that seems a bit far stretched...
I was thinking about this for ages, as you can tell xD thoughts?
Also, (and this question is a lot easier xD) Voldemort couldn't kill Harry because he was protected by his parents' love, right? (whatever that means...) So does that mean that everybody who Voldemort was able to kill wasn't loved by anyone?

Good luck hope you get sorted into the house you want (unlike me)
