Default International Applicants thread

Hey guys,

A lot of universities have started giving out applications and some have even started the rejections. However, a vast majority of these (if not all) are UK applicants. We are treated slightly differently, our BMAT section 3 was also different!

This thread can be where all international applicants can share their joy or sorrow, ask questions or simply enlighten each other with general beliefs surrounding International application.

So, have any of you received any interview calls yet? Any rejections?
How did you find the BMAT?

Ohh, ok....but congratulations! Hope you ace the interviews....

Hmm...i know, i would have preferred the UK section 3 questions myself and the other sections wee just plain horrible!! Aanswered so many of them without even reading the questions...
Now all we can do is hope that everything turns out ok...

I wish there are more international threads...
see I applied to Kings from Canada and it's so scary seeing all these interview offered (and seems to be mostly from UK local students) while I still haven't heard anything yet....
I really hope it works differently for overseas students...

Hey, I have a question...
Those who are getting interview calls, the UK applicants, are notified around two to three weeks before their interview date. Would the case be the same for the international applicants?
Personally, I would prefer being told about my interview(if I get any) at least four weeks in advance so that I can arrange for my travel and get leave from school and all that...

Yeah, the UK questions seemed easier to me. Oh well, it's graded according to a standard distribution so it should be fair.

Well the BMAT is actually very important for imperial. They have a certain undisclosed threshold that students have to meet or else they do not even consider them.
I know this because I met a lady from the Medical Admissions office of Imperial and she didn't disclose the threshold either
