Regarding failed exams

Do you have to include the failed exams on the UCAS personal statement because I think it would hinder my chances of getting into the desired course. Does the University know every exam you sat, like it has a big computer with all the details in it?
Depends on the grades and whether the qualification was cashed.

Do you mean failed as in below a C or failed as in a U?
It is very simple: you have to declare everything that is certificated, whether that means a pass or a fail. So a GCSE D grade must be declared, but a U grade at GCE A level or GCSE mustn't be.
