This has been bugging me and I cant seem to get my head around it...

Is this right?

\frac{n}{n+1}:\frac{1}{n+1}=n:1

If n is 3 it makes sense to me, but what about if n is

\frac{11}{4}

Does it still work (

Yes, that is correct as long as n is not -1 (to avoid division by 0). When you have a :, think of it as a division sign :smile:
