I guess just go to each submarine in turn and show that either there does not exist a lambda/mu such that the submarine passes through the point B, or that there does exist a lambda/mu such that it passes through B. To do this, you take each coefficient of the unit-vectors for a submarine, and compare it to the coefficient of the unit-vector for the point B.
