A cell has e.m.f. of 1.5v and an internal resistance of 5.0x10-2 (ohms). Determine the maximum current that it can deliver and the current that it would deliver into a 1x10-1 (ohms) load.
Please can someone guide me through this, as i know it has something to do with emf = v +ir.
Last I knew, emf == voltage. V=IR. 1.5/5*10-2 for the first part. Resistors in series, just add up the resistances and substitute it back into V=IR. Simple
