Computer Science at York/Imperial/Warwick/Bristol

Anyone doing CS at York, Imperial, Warwick or Bristol? I'm planning to apply there for 2009. Is the entry for the course really competitive? And what's the course like there for current students?

I'm doing it at York. I'm not sure how competitive entry is, they normally go into clearing - I was given an offer of AAB but still got in with ABB.

The course is wonderful, just the right balance of theory and practical work, plus the hardware stuff is particularly fun.

I'm at Bristol. Couldn't tell you how competitive it is. As laser said about York, there's a good balance of theory and practical work. Although Bristol's CS course doesn't involve much hardware stuff (but there are related courses if that's your thing).
