Can someone fully explain my offer?

Got this through today from Brighton:

Congratulations; University of Brighton has asked us to tell you that it is offering you a place for Sport Journalism, P500; starting in September 2009 at point of entry 1.
The conditions of the offer are:

This offer is subject to you obtaining

Obtain 300 UCAS Tariff points, to include at least 2 GCE A

levels. This offer excludes tariff points from Level 2 Key

Skills. Level 3 Key Skills will count towards the overall

score.

Right , 300 points I get that bit. But it says nothing about not counting general studies (or is that bit the level 2 key skills thing?). Also, i got a D in History last year at AS (And dropped it).

So for arguments sake, lets say I get a B for general studies, combine the 50 with the 40 from history, do i then only need 210 points? which is effectively CCD...

Well if you look on the Brighton site it says "BBB (typically translates to 300-340 points in the UCAS tariff with additional qualifications). General Studies is included."

Therefore if you obtain 300 points from your exams, you're in.
