Right, I've had no e-mail from them so far and now it's the 13th. So I'm just assuming I didn't get through to the interview stage. No big deal, life goes on in search of another job...

And ive missed my fri nite out, grr! was hoping id hear an then could join them out later to either celebrate or drown my sorrows. like u said ah well if we're not through (which is what im thinkin!) ur right, plenty more jobs in the sea. its a big world :-)

I've just got back from my Christmas do and I've got an email offering me an interview. My email was sent at 6:30 - I left for my Christmas do at 6:20 after checking my emails zillions of times! I applied for HR and live in the North, so who knows what order they're telling people in. Fingers crossed to all you late night threaders!!

just googled 'nhs management scheme' and found this thread, tsr never lets me down!
Anyway Ive applied for HR Management, North area, found out I got through to interview stage, yay! Really wasn't expecting to because of how I did in the numerical tests, but reading through it seems like everyone found it hard. The email was doubly surprising as Id forgotten we were being contacted around this time as I applied so long ago. I've chosen to do an interview in Birmingham (hometown) in Jan, looks like the interview slots were really going fast. Oh dear I'm nervous already, have to swot up for the interview and buy a suit.
Btw does anyone know, I found the website quite confusing in this regard, but under the scheme you do work placements and study for a qualification, and the university that offers the postgrad qualification I would get if I did HR management is in London. does this mean I would have to live in/travel to London for studying or is it all done by distance learning? (I know Im getting a bit ahead of myself as I havent even had an interview, but I really cant move to London and its pretty far to travel from Sheffield!)

Just leapt out of bed to check my email.....did not get through.

I think it's ironic that they made me wait all day/night to tell me that I'd failed - hardly very good practice for a HR scheme.

Highly unimpressed, it's disappointing enough having not got through without having built up the anticipation for two whole days.

Back to the drawing board I suppose.

Oh great! Checked my Email yesterday about 9pm didn't have anything, tried to check my email this morning and the bloody University Email servers are down, for 2 days!!! I have got a feeling I haven't got through as I did mess up the math bit, will be slightly annoyed especially as the decisions was most likely made by a computer! and I spent a whole year of my placement in the HR dept for a PCT lol, oh well! congrats to everyone else

I'm going to Derby on the 22nd. I went to a course really near Pride Park a while back so I know where it is. I live in Chesterfield and was hoping for interviews in Sheffield, but had a feeling there wouldn't be any. I'm not sure about the London thing either, I also found the website a bit vague about work placements etc. Congrats on getting an interview.
