hey pplzzz....i reli need help findin a hard question on Mass spectrometty...im tryin to get the pass papers but it says error....i reli need to cum up wiv a ques by tomoro

lemmi giv u an example of ques from da edexcel revision quide:

Lithium has two isotope, 6Li and 7Li. use dat table to calculate the relavtive atomic mass of Lithium....

[(6.015 x 7.42) + (7.016 x 92.58)] / 100

= 6.941

Relative atomic mass = 6.941 gmol-1

if this is the m/z and the abundance you multiply them together, add them and divide by 100 to give the Ar

so (6.015 x 7.42) + (7.016 + 92.58) / 100
=44.6313 + 649.54 / 100 = 7
