Preliminary experiment for Bio coursework on photosynthesis

For my coursework I have to investigate "The effect of temperature on the rate of photosynthesis at two different light intensities." What would be a suitable prelim. if for the "real thing" I am going to use a photosynthometer. We've had some lessons doing prelim stuff already but tbh I don't have a clue what I am doing.

well in u're prelim u're probs gonna have to determine temperature range - find the highest/lowest temps that still give readings ...

If you're using a lamp for light intensity, I suppose you should find out what suitable distances to put the lamp away from the leaf/plant at?
