Yer, excel wouldn't let me do it either, but openoffice.org did. I love open source software :-) I will update it as more results come in. I'm sure you can tell that the different colors are for different parties.

I'm surprised that someone with your political views is using proprietary software like MS office..

My thoughts exactly. I use linux with non-proprietary software on my P.C. mind I'm not on my P.C. right now, But still, where available I use Linux, openoffice etc...

I do use openoffice tbh. Why pay for something if I can get something that will do the same job for free . Thankfully, there is no political motive behind my software choices. If the makers of openoffice funded torture in guantanamo bay and killed babies, I'd still use it to save my pocket.

what Linux and everything? its a steep learning curve but worth it when you (finally) succeed in getting it all working. The easy way is to use the windows versions of openoffice and aMSN and firefox. That was your running free software on a propriety operating system.

I have firefox, but that's as far as I've got :p: I'd rather do interesting things on a computer than spend years setting it up tbh.

I use most my software not for financial or political reasons, Just because I hate propriety software and license agreements. but were getting off topic here.

I must say I'm a little concerned at how extreme all the Socialists seem to be. Is the test skewed?

And there you have your answer.
It's just that usually, you socialists tend to go the whole hog with your lifestyle choices so they conform to your political views. Apologies for the generalisations that my mind makes.

It is, yes. Generally it is accepted that you tend to come out more in the bottom quadrant than you may really be.

Nope, I drink Coke, and work for a company that makes money, and I vote in bourgeois democratic elections. I don't believe in boycotting for boycotting's sake.

I would, but I can't be bothered with the inherent inconvenience to that approach

I'd be more worried by how far 'up' the authoritarian/libertarian scale some of your members are...

I dunno, mine feels pretty right and is what I've been consistently scoring for a few years now. My economic scale tends to float in the 9 range, and my libertarianism between 8 and 9...

Well if you only ever take this one test consistency doesn't tell us very much. But I mean, look at DG, he's nowhere near as extreme on the scale as I would have expected which implies some skew in the results.

Anyone know of any other similar tests for comparison purposes?

Oh, I quite agree. Which is why the copy of MS Office on my home computer is pirated.
