Do energy tablets actually exist? And if they do - do they work?
And if they do work, what are they called?

I've recently started taking pro-plus to keep me up. It's not good to keep on taking them for a long period of time, as they're caffeine tablets, but they definitely do the trick if you need a bit of an energy boost.

What the hell? I consider them drugs. Why not get a bit of sleep instead?

Caffeine tablets - pro-plus is the brand name, but any will do.

Yeah pretty much. I get them from boots. They tend to stock them where all the vitamin tablets etc are.

Don't have any effect in my experience. I resorted to Kick, only 24p a can. Somebody call David Dickinson cos I've found a bloody bargain!

That's hardly going to keep you awake.

    Crystal meth tends to work.

    Failing that, caffeine.

try red bull or cheaper alternatives such as relentless, or supermarket versions (tesco kick etc)

make sure you keep yourself hydrated with water cos the caffeine and sugar will cause headaches if you're prone to dehydrating easily

Pro plus or the tesco equivalent is good.

    Failing that, speed? :p:

Modafinil if you can get hold of it.

Amphetamines after that, but they are illegal.

Then caffeine I guess, though it is nowhere near as effective.

Adrafinil. It's very good stuff, and metabolises to modafinil in-vivo within about an hour. Keeps you highly alert for about 10 hours, and beyond that awake up to about the 14th hour (by my experiences). That said, if you can get it...

    - Hope that helps,

    - Dom

Edit: It's also about a quarter of the price of generic modafinil (Modalert) and about a sixth of the price of the patented preparation (Provigil). Oh yeah, and Cephalon makes it under the name 'Olmifon'.
