Am I right to be furious with my tutor?
We finished this week's lectures today on a specific topic which I generally suck at, but I'm finding this week's problem sheet impossible.
Our tutor wants the sheet in tomorrow morning.
He's organised subject drinks *tonight*, the only night we actually get to do his problem sheet.
My school (well, the head of the school) is organising a meetup tonight at Corpus college for all students at Oxford- but I severely doubt I'll get to go to them which is *not* my fault in the slightest.
I've two problem sheets (one of which we finished the lectures on yesterday) due in tomorrow for another tutor. I finished those yesterday night but I've still got two questions I don't understand and have to try tonight.

He knows we've only got one day to do the sheet in; I told him it was ridiculous when he first organised the tutes but he doesn't care.

    [/end rant].

Am I right to go complaining to the college or is general practice that I need to get used to (I'm a fresher).

In my experience, complaining to the college about tutors doesn't get you very far and needs to be done extremely carefully.

I would tend to say, yes you are right to be furious, but get used to it.

Get used to it. Be furious if he tells you off for not having done the questions, but in my experience they generally don't.

Meh just do the work when you get in from the night out. Don't complain and get yourself a bad name.

Don't stress out so much, most tutors don't really seem to mind if you do work late once or twice, or don't manage it at all.

I suspect they'll mind a little more if you're at their drinks event the night before though.
