I thought this would be a welcome contribution: http://maps.met.police.uk/
According to that website, the crime rate in my area is high.
    Can't say I'm surprised. :nah:

Lewisham, I absolutely hate it. Well I don't mind where /I/ live so much, but the majority of the borough is horrible in my opinion. I love Camden, I would love to live there.

Barking/Dagenham gives me nightmares. My hometown is Essex, so outside east London, and I have to go past Barking and Dagenham on the train if I am travelling to/from uni.

I hate it. I sit there really awkwardly, praying for the train to hurry up and shut the doors and move away.
haha lol well at least you only have to go past it. I live there! and there has been an incident yesterday or today; i think it was a stabbing at the market because its all closed of but everyone acted like it was perfectly normal...

Camden, along Camden Road. I guess it is pretty good. Massive Sainsbury's just down the road, 29 bus outside, not to busy not to quiet. Downside is distance from uni, but that is only going to get worse in years 2 & 3.

Haha. I go to school in another part of London and I do get quite defensive when good old "Blue Borough" is criticised - but inside remains a hatred, I'm afraid. =P

True :o: It's still ruddy annoying. Sometimes the 29 (which to quote someone "comes more regularly than a prostitute") takes 20 odd minutes which means I'm late.
