First of all, please don't bump your threads (especially after only ten minutes). Also, you'll probably get a better response in the computer science courses subforum (this is academic help) or the Newcastle subforum.

Is this the course you're referring to

Is so, it looks like a computer science degree, but has games as a specialisation. But I'm no expert.

Yeah it looks like regular CS but with a specialisation. It seems they are really just giving you a different degree title based on you module choices in year 3. It would be nice to see what the module choices are, but I suspect it's not all that relevant to games programming. But if it's a decent CS course then it wouldn't be a bad choice.
