You mean Lakshmi Mital (sp) and co? I think we'd be very lucky if that were to happen

Just read that Mackail-Smith has joined Brighton. What the..? I was under the impression we weren't in for him as he was attracting interest from Prem clubs. Could've done a job for us perhaps?

    Aha, one can

Gary Caldwell signs on a 2 year contract. How inspiring. Just hope that one of Johnson and Dann will still be here at the start of the season to partner Davies. Caldwell would be a good back-up defender. If he's going to be a starter then it just confirms we'll be mid-table at best.

Steven Caldwell* As long as we keep one of Johnson/Dann and definitely keep Foster I will be happy.

Bleh, sorry. Did mean Steven bit harsh on Gary, that! Completely agree with you.

He's a nob from what I've heard anyway. For example he said this to a fan
"Just beause I play for the team I support doesn't mean I have to speak to you"

Good riddance. Thinks he is way better than he is and the fact he is going to wolves speaks volumes for how good he actually is.

He probably is a nob, but I'm stil gutted. I mean, had the 7 mins after Gardner had equalised at Spurs had just gone slightly differently then this wouldn't be happening and we'd even be looking to nob some of their players. Just eurgh. But whatever, I'm genuinely looking forward to this season now and if he doesn't want to be here then good riddance.

Apparently Ridgewell is in talks with WBA after they agreed a fee. Joy.

That sucks. I love Ridgewell, if he goes and foster goes then I really do despair.

We had 6 attempts after beating Sunderland 2-0 to get ourselves out of this position but failed every time. On the bright side, if we had stayed up we would have been stuck with McLies and his boring brand of football. But we have actually been paid to have him go to the villa.

Bring on actually enjoying football for a change under Hughton!

Amen to that, dude. I love Ridgey as well. I can't stand everyone pissing off to our nearest rivals. I just really hope we do go up and take their players when they're inevitably relegated.

It's the way footballers are now mate. Don't want to take the relegation wage drop so are more than happy to go and join in with another relegation battle than stay and help get us out of the league their ineptness put us in.

Got confirmation Ridgewell is not in talks with WBA. He is just a target, nothing more yet.

Johnson can go, over rated by a mile. 7 million is over paying for him and we just grabbed ourselfs some good money. Also a nob as a person so good riddance. He'll go down next season whilst we go back up. We'll see who's laughing then.

Oh and we got cash of the vile for McLeish and co. Wehey!

That's good news I really hope we keep Ridgewell and Foster, especially now that we've raked in upwards of £10m and expect another £10m for when Dann goes. Can't wait for the season to start

And lol at Villa basically waving goodbye to any ambition they previously had. They're gonna struggle big time next year in my honest opinion.

I don't know about that dude, If they get N'Zogbia and Given (not parker, over-rated ****e), then a few more good signings, they may be up there.

News that Ferguson may be leaving. I'll heart broken if he does, but i guess his time has come to move on. He's getting on a bit and he may not be a Hughton player. More of a McLeish man.

Will be really sad to see him go, my favorite player and all.
