Right, seeing how Noémie manage to organise a meet-up during the 1st week of interviews on the 10th December, I was wondering if anyone want to help me organise one on the 16th December for the final batch of "scientists" who may be hanging around Oxford.

Here's Plan A (that is if none of the college's JCR decide to rent out the whole of G&D's for the night):
G&D's, St. Aldate's (almost opposite Christ Church's Tom Tower, just down the road from Carfax, next to Pembroke College)
8pm 16/12
Meet downstairs (look out for a table with a TSR "sign" )

If G&D's is too busy, we will just have to stand outside and discuss our next move (i.e. what are we going to do and where are we going to go for warmth and shelter.)

Not that I have an interview yet but, preliminarily, sounds good. Somewhere central and in the evening would be best I think (evening so it doesn't clash with anyone's interview/dinner) - 7:30/8?

I'm still not sure if I'm able to organise one yet but I would be grateful if some other people could help me out. Note I have made a provisional list of people who may be able to attend if there is one.

Was thinking about G&Ds as well, perhaps around 20:00/ 08:00pm or so?

If we make the meeting place the G&Ds opposite Tom Tower it's about the easiest place in the world to find. It is also quite spacious and serves delicious bagels, as well as the famous ice cream.
The only problem with organising this kind of thing is that people may or may not have interviews and/or other stuff going on, so everything is very tentative. If we want to go through with it we have to get some mobile phone number PMs on the go.

Assuming I can find the meeting point (map reading skills are horrendous)...I may indeed pop along. I'll be the one arriving late and shuffling up towards the lot of you, grouped together, muttering something about the internet because I won't want to have approached a group of COMPLETE (instead of partial) strangers by accident....oh and I might be wearing a hat.
