I Film Studies a worthless subject like Media Studies?

I suppose I'll care if it means I can't get a job afterwards. If English + History combined would be a better, but less enjoyable combination, maybe I'd take that instead.
I don't know that History and English would be better. It depends on what you want to do. I would probably do a combo of English + Film Studies or Journalism + Film Studies. Both will work well together and give an extra qualification that will help in other areas.
