I love this baby. How much is it worth? And does it come in smaller, first-time-buyer-friendly engines? :o: Yes, I know absolutely nothing about cars, I just know what my eyes find aesthetically pleasing and not :p:

hehe. He only ever owned Jaguars and Daimlers through his whole driving career. His first car was an SS Jaguar 1.5. Look how much they are worth today! The best car he had was a MK 10. That was a cool car. Massive, though...

The 1.8 lBGT is worth about £2500 to £3500 depending on the time of year. I've got it insured for £3k.

The 1.8 litre 4 cylinder gets about 35mpg and if you go with a classic car policy, you'll find it cheaper than a modern car despite the "big" () 1.8 litre engine. It was just over £700 for a BGT when I was 18.

Yeah. The red one was petrol and was brilliant, but it was costing £40 a WEEK in fuel which is ridiculous. With the white one it's about £20 a month, no jokes. I didn't just fancy a change in colour as everyone assumes :p:

Yeah!

Nice engine  The torque does all come at once, although that in itself makes it quite good fun!
