Aww cool, I'm doing marketing, advertising and communications on Park campus
Do you know if all the campuses are close together or are they quite far apart?

Hey,
Im currently at UoGloucestershire Uni, 2nd year.
In relation to your question - FCH is basically the other side of Cheltenham from Park, Pitville is near(ish) FCH, quite far from Park. And Oxstalls is in Gloucester.

Well im actually from Gloucester - so I can say that its alright, pretty quiet in comparison to other places, ie Birmingham, Bristol.
The uni itself is alright - im at FCH, which is the smallest Uni and pretty quiet, in comparison to Park and Oxstalls. (Dont know a great deal about Pitville though as never been there).
Transport to/from the Uni is easy (choice of the free uni bus OR the local buses, which cost 50p a journey).

Hope that kinda helps,
haha yeahhh i was kinda worried about it being quiet because im from birmingham, but ahh well, its not long to get home on the train and loads of my friends are staying at home so if i want to go out on broad street once in a while, its not a problem loll.
Thanks for you help

I come to Birmingham quite often (shopping ), love it up there. Was even meant to go to Uni up there, but for my own bank account safety, I decided to stay at home lol ). The night life in Cheltenham isn't bad. My uni mates are out every week (without fail).
Yea its not far on the train, so getting the train from Glos or Chelt won't take too long.
You will like Park campus though - I love going over there, especially in the summer - its massive, so chilled, modern and relaxed.
Gloucestershire, Pittville Campus, Television Production. Had an interview on Tuesday and am just waiting for the offer to come through (already had an informal confirmation of a place, just no offer).
Hey!
I've not applied to this uni but I really wish I had done now
Seriously considering rejecting my current offers and going through extra to apply here but I'm a little worried that they'll say no and I'll be stuck with no where to go.
I would be applying for Geography/Education, anyone have any idea if its likely that they'll have spaces and if they would ask for an interview??
Any help is much appreciated.

Im in exactly the same situation as you and i think im going to wait til UCAS extra and see what courses they have available, and if they have a course im intersted in il ring them and ask them if its worth me applying and let them know my situation. If they tell me to apply, then il reject all my offers and apply there through extra.
My advice atm would be to keep all your current offers and wait til Ucas Extra starts, then browse the available courses at Gloucs (anyone can see whats on UCAS extra, you dont have to reject all ur offers then look) and if ur course is there, then apply for it
good luck x

At last, a mob of people I can confide in! Pretty much all my friends arent goin to uni or are already there and are bored of hearing about it already...
