Question UCAS Statement’s........???

Where it says personal statement for your UCAS does it mean it has to be something like this?

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...nal_Statements

Some statements are very impressive. In the republic of Ireland law is not a subject that lc students can pick....so should I say this in my statement...
Should I right my own reference and get one of my teachers to put their name to it??? As they had written it them self’s based on me???

Yes your Personal Statement should be of similar quality, if not better. You need to make sure you really sell yourself in this area of the UCAS application as admissions tutors do look at it to judge whether they want you or not.
There is a great PS Helper section on this site which you can submit your drafts to before you send your application off and this will definitely help you somewhat.

The reference is a completely different part of the application, and this needs to be filled out by someone like a teacher. It should be a largely academic reference with predicted grades etc in it if needs be. You cannot write this part of the UCAS form.
