Default The TSR Awards 2008 - discussion thread
 
Vote here in the TSR Awards 2008

It's the time of year for the TSR Awards 2008 - voting has now started.

Vote for the member you think deserve each award; the nominations will close at the end of 30th December and the winners will be announced on 31st December.

So get voting now!

Voting for yourself is not allowed. This will result in your vote for the award in question being made void.


mini FAQ

What are the date arrangements?
8th-18th December - Nominations.
19th-30th December - Voting (the voting may start slightly earlier or later depending on how long it takes for us to process the nominations)
31st December - Results.
These may change though.

Can i vote for/nominate myself?
No. The powers above will know whether you are voting for yourself or using a dupe account. If you are found to be voting for yourself then that nomination will be made void. Anybody using a dupe account to vote (which are not under current restrictions) will also have their nominations made void.

Can i vote for the same member in multiple categories?
If you wish.

Do I have to make a nomination for every category?
Nope.

Do I have to fill out all of the nominations at once?
Nope, the form saves your entries and you can go back as many times as you want to add nominations.

Can I change my mind?
Yep, you can go back to the form at any time over the nomination period and change your mind.

What do the winners get?
An e-award. At the moment there is no guaranteed prize, but you never know.

What if my sub of the year nominee is not a sub at the moment?
You can still vote for them just as long as they have been a sub sometime during 2008.

Who are the minimods and global moderators?
Go look at http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showgroups.php
Minimods are purple.
Global Moderators are blue.
Administrators are red.
Super Moderators are cyan.

Can I nominate an ex-mod for mod/minimod of the year?
Sorry, but you can only nominate current mods for this category.

Can I campaign for people to nominate/vote for me or other people via PM, in my profile or sig or anywhere else?
No, campaigning or organised voting of any sort is not allowed.

Where can I vote for PS Helper of the Year?
Only PS Helpers can nominate for this award - see this thread for instructions about how to do this.

What about the HoC member of the Year?
The HoC is also having a member of the year. For further details about this award, please see here.

Don't forget guys you have over a week to do this, can change your mind at any point over that time period, and you don't have to do all your nominations at once. So you've got time to think
