does anybody know anything about the strengths of this theory, and how it has influenced peoples thinking about crime? any help wud be much appreciated. thanks. :smile:

Um - try these,

- explains location of crime in some city areas
- allows people to see how environment can link to/create crime (e.g. small dark alleys on a new estate not a good idea for girls)
- radical in its time for not blaming the criminals for the crime
