Re: MUN Recruitment ThreadWhat countries are still free?(Original post by thunder_chunky)
Hello everyone, I'm the new Secretary General. Well I say new, I've been SG for a week and a half now.
If your wondering what's going on over there:
There is a resolution concerning the famine in the Horn of Africa
A thread about the Libyan Health system being stretched beyond capacity
Facebook and Twitter used by Israel to bar pro-Palestine protest groups
Israel begins dismantling wall which acts as seperation barrier.
That's just some of our discussions.
If you wish to ask a general question feel free to PM me or post the question in the MUN Off Topic thread.
Also we are discussing the idea of a Live Model United Nations chat room.
If you are interested in joining Click here and select the Model United Nations user group.
Thanks

It was submitted by the Representative for the Model House of Commons.
It is an interesting debate. -
Re: MUN Recruitment ThreadThe SG is the only one who can let you into the MUN. If you've already decided the nation you want to represent, why not send him a PM to let him know? It may speed up your aplication. Look forwards to seeing you in the (M)UN!(Original post by yituool)
Applied to join, still waiting to be approved. I see Serbia is free, could I become their representative? -
Re: MUN Recruitment ThreadYes, sorry I haven't processed any applications so far this week I've been a bit side tracked. Apologies, I'll do it today(Original post by yituool)

Re: MUN Recruitment Thread
I also disagree. Becoz I've been at more MUN conferences then I can count, and I think that the structure of the UN is great for some things - humanitarian issues in particular.
