really big Pokemon fan and working my way through pearl, caught Azelf, Polkia and Uxie, but was wondering, i miss the original Pokemon



what are the best other games, to get cool pokemon and things, so any ideas and advice as to where to get them

Red and Blue, the original fun ones based on the tv show, before it all became a moneymaking scam with all the pathetic new ones. The first 150 pokemon will always be the ones i remember.

Absofrigginlutely. They ruled; I was so excited, when it came out, I was 10 and on a spring holiday in Worcestershire! I remember going to Woolworths in Evesham with my mum to buy it.

Gold/Silver got confusing, too many new pokemon!

I have fond memories of Red/Blue, but for me Gold/Silver annihilated them. I felt a genuine sense of atmosphere when I played, especially after 6pm when the game was in night mode. Beating Red/Blue (the final boss in G/S, that is) felt like a real achievement after a 16 gym slog, with his lvl 80+ pokémon.

Subsequent games smell of wee. They're probably still above average games, but they don't compare.

red and blue were well good
i have every single game apart from yellow and diamond and they merge into one, after a while.
one of my favourites was the one where your dad was a gym leader and there was a forest town!
