8.14 for nights??? thats not brilliant, the average wage for someone doing nights where I work (Sainsbury's) is £10.05, normal base rate for an over 18 who's worked for the company for 3 months is £6.70 then its 1.5x if you work nights.


introductory rate for me, goes up 21st january to 10.55 :smile: oh yeah its just a job for short term money not a life long dream ok!
co-op pays 12 pound for nights!

Schuh offer 6.78 per hour for everyone, not just over 18s.

Really? At the one I work at they're doing some 'recruitment freeze' so no-one new has been employed in the last 6 months.:confused:
My store's pretty decent tbh. I only work weekends, and most of us are students, so you're never really bored no matter who you're stuck on a till with. Can't complain.



Tesco is ace :P I get £6.50 an hour, £13 on sundays. Which makes me happy :smile:


We have that freeze too.... and my dept (stock control and PI) is stupidly short staffed :mad: .
