I have an important 3500 word essay to do for my history course. The question is 'to what extent were stalin's 5 year plans a success'. I feel as if I should do and introduction, give evidence for why it was a success and then evidence for why it wasnt, but is that too simplistic for an A2 essay?? I need to get an A in history, so I need to do well. Any ideas to help me?

Checking for Spies

Sometimes simplicity is the key though,and examiners and teachers often prefer essays to be nice and concise.I know the AQA have been known to only mark coursework up to the point of the recommended word count in the past :eek:
