AS Level Shakespeare Essay help

Hi

I'm doing an AS CW essay on comparing and contrasting Shakespeare's presentation of actual and potential rulers in Hamlet and The Tempest. I'm doing absolute rulers atm, and having trouble integrating cultural context references from the two plays (which needs to make up a sixth) into my textual analysis. Could someone please help me with some pointers/examples please? Would also appreciate for Machiavellian style rulers and Alternative rulers e.g Hamlet and Caliban

This might come across as a bit facetious, but probably try The Lion King for Hamlet. And don't laugh, it could be a very interesting route to go down.
