Probably because it is written on almost every college admission webpage and the Cambridge admission webpage? :rolleyes:

Was it written in the Cam admission webpage? I was looking for it yesterday and didn't find it. I KNEW that mail was being sent on the 2nd, but only because it said so on my interview letter.

"Decision letters posted 2nd January 2009"

I was told at my interview that the colleges try to respond more or less at the same time.

I should really know this, but does anyone know whether Choral Awards affect when you hear from Cambridge? Or is it just down to the college?

It says there that January 2nd is the agreed posting date for decision letters.
