Leave quietly and we will let that one go :p:

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, especially as Lenny Henry is one of the most successful comedians in British history.

Did you not see him on Jools Holland's Hootenanny, he did a duet with Duffy doing Mercy, so funny!

its not on youtube, damn! It might be on iPlayer...

Black comedians are often rather repetitive and cover the same issues again and again, but nonetheless I'm a Chris Rock fan.
DancinBallerina
He did ''Mama Who Da Man'' and another one . . he was a TV presenter for MTV, he does stand up every so often in London, but not as much as before.

The funniest thing Richard Blackwood ever did was appear on Brass Eye.

"Online paedophiles can actually make your keyboard release toxins that make you more suggestable *blackwood sniffs keyboard* I must say I feel more suggestable and that was just one sniff."

Now that is Comedy Gold :yep:

Good Lord, imagine being black and gay. You wouldn't stand a chance in the comedy business!

Black people are too busy being cool. And women and gays...yeah...aren't very funny. It's just the natural order.

I love Jo Caulfield and Jo Brand! They are fantastic female stand ups. But sadly, they are the only ones I've come across that are *that* good.

And there is nothing wrong with Lenny Henry, he is a great impressionist. Wouldn't call him stand up though, he did have that spot on New Faces.
Reg D Hunter is better than Stephen K Amos!!!!!
loafer

i didnt find it funny till Jaimie jumped in.

Richard Pryor has been voted the 'Number 1 Greatest Stand Up Comedian of All Time' in numerous polls worldwide.

Richard Pryor is just amazing.

Black people make fine comedians, but racial comedy (e.g. Omid Djalili: "in Iran, people..." etc.) is generally unfunny. Campness (I'm distinguishing it from homosexuality, because one doesn't necessarily imply the other) isn't, either.
Steven K Amos is funny, i saw him a couple of months ago.
Nig Nog boy made the show though  (i hope Amos uses that as future material, it was awesomely funny)
