The Student Room Group

Would anyone fill in a quick survey on free time/leisure for me? :)

Hi all,

Sorry for the exceptionally boring post but I was wondering if any of you were bored enough to answer a few (amazingly banal) questions. Basically I have to write up a report in Japanese of the results of a survey thingy on free time - I have all the Japanese results, just need a few English ones to compare! I only need about 4 sets of results so don't all rush at once

1. Are you a student? If so, what are you studying? If not, what do you do?
2. Approximately how much free time do you have a week? (For this, 'free time' means anything that isn't working, studying, in class, etc)
3. Do you consider yourself to have enough free time?
4. What sort of things do you like doing in your free time?
5. Do you prefer spending your free time alone, with friends, or having a balance between the two?
6. Compared to this time last year, are you more or less busy?
7. What's more important to you - work/study/success, your friends/family, or having enough time to relax?

Yeah, like I said, apologies for the tedious questions. Thanks all the same, though!

Mods, this is probably in completely the wrong place and I apologise if it is :frown:

Success is most important to me, and success to me is happiness. This means that whether work, study or free time is more important changes daily. Time with my friends is always VERY important though.
Luckily, I always enjoy both my study and my job, so these don't make me compromise my happiness in any way.

A balance between the two. I need some alone time after I get in from work/uni, at least for a little while, but I also enjoy going out with friends, usually later on in the night.

Roughly the same- maybe slightly more busy.

7. What's more important to you - work/study/success, your friends/family, or having enough time to relax?
Hmm... what's more important to me realistically is work, not because I want it to be, but because I need to work in order to support myself, so I'll do as many hours as I can get.
