"now that would be emabarressing eh."

not nearly as embarrassing as paying £18m for darren bent

you sir have been boiiid  --- carlton cole = £2m
lol the irony of a wet spam fan taking the mick out of our valuations. We can afford to make £16m mistakse because we've got shed loads of cash and you've got a £25m heading towards sheefield and your owneris basically bankrupt:p:

Even bent looks great businnes compared to tevez+mascherano

lets not forget all your players are constantly injured and still picking up 60k a week (ashton, dyer and boa morte).

now that would be emabarressing eh.

worst start in our history 2 months in and then still finish above you lot doing the double .

actually not bothered about your team because your skint (as usual) and we should finish at least 15 points ahead of you next season.
LOL you have to laugh at spurs fans giving it the big-i-am.

So what if we're skint? Where has having loads of money got you? Stuck in the relegation zone for parts of the season and now you're in the top half of the table for the first time in how long? After how much spent? You should be the one whos feeling embarrased.

15 points ahead of us? Let me guess, next season is going to be 'your year' in which you finally break the big four? I thought your season this year might have dispelled some of that delusion!

ah you need a straw man argument

where have I mentioned anything about breaking into the top 4. I said we'll finish 15 points ahead of you that means we might only end up with 55 points and you lot can get relegated again.

West Ham also wanted to sign Bent in the Summer of 07; you equalled our bid.

yeah true, we were ready to spend the money - then he rejected us, which in my opinion makes it doubly funny that he turned out rubbish for spurs. We've also managed to stay in the top half all season despite the handicap of having julian faubert in the squad til january Still spurs did have that season where they finished in the top fou.........oh wait scratch that, carl fletcher:cool:

Sorry to dissapoint you, but i don't think we'll be getting relegated any time soon. Last time i checked you had a closer brush with relegation then we have this season.

Plus i predict next season will be another one of 'underachievement' for spurs.

Why the obsession with the top half? Aside from the prize money generated from finishing +1 position higher, it really isn't anything to write home about. The difference between 9th-10th-11th-12th is negligible most seasons, as it will be this in all likelihood. Both Spurs and West Ham are in mid-table atm, and although you can say at the end of the season that the side finishing 11th has been below the median average, what else can you say? I would really be any happier with a 9/10th place finish than an 11th place finish, particularly if we finished lower down the league but had a few decent cup runs.

There's no obsession with the top half. But with the money spurs have spent you would expect them to be in there and even challenging the top 4.

I'm bored of talking about spurs anyway. This is a WHU thread

Well yes, but i expected intelligent discussion, not for a spurs fan to come in and go haha wouldn't that be embarassing, we will finish 15 points in front of you next season, etc.

Great win for us today with a totally makeshift team, when I saw the team I have to admit I questioned where the goals were going to come from.

James Tomkins was outstanding, looks to be the next big thing. He's far too good looking to be a centre-back

    an honest west ham fan

believe it or not there are a few spammers that have seen the light..

"I think if we all look deep within ourselves it's actually our own jealousy. I know that's not going to go down well on here but unfortunately it's just the truth as I see it. They have been like our bigger, better looking brother for all of our lifetimes having always been richer, had more media coverage, more supporters and a lot more success than we have. They aren't our traditional rivals, but somehow over the years they have replaced them as the team we hate the most. "

The link don't work mate, but I can assure you that view isn't representative of any West Ham fans I know. I know they supposedly aren't your words but I'll argue the points there with you. I'd be happy with a couple of Carling Cup finals but I don't envy you for your appearances and I wouldn't count that as success. For all the money you spent, I get alot more satisfaction watching us develop our own players, though it hurts when they move on. For every O Hara you have, we bring through Noble, Tomkins, Sears, Stanislas and Payne. You may have more supporters, but you also have the most fickle support in the country outside of Newcastle.

On a personal note, I honestly don't hate your mob anywhere near as much as I hate Millwall, although I will enjoy a win on Saturday! 0-2, Sears and Noble!

fair enough I wont argue with because that view was a very isolated one.

Here are the more represtative ones for you:

Do not buy a programme or buy any pork pies from the ground, you can have a wee or a dump in their bogs though.

Do not give them a penny more than you have to and leave the area as quickly as possible at the end of the game.

I hate the Spud scum more than I hate Millwall, Chelski and Sh*ff Utd all put together."

I have to totally agree with previous posters, that even the Spuds fans that seem alright, get them talking about football, they are so far up their own arse and above their station, I want to inflict some kind of physical pain on them. Twice.

f***ing muppets, the lot of them."

I don't really see your point 2bh. First you've posted from KUMB which most normal west ham fans recognise as being infested with knee-jerk embarrassing mongs. Every club has a certain amount of embarrasing fans, it's just the way things are. I could go on a spurs site and find similar stuff to what you've just posted, doesn't mean we're all like that does it? I dislike spurs alot but some of the stuff above is embarrasing, such as the bloke who acts differently just cos there is a spurs fan in the room.

Anyway what was the point of posting it anyway - how about some reasonable discussion?!

just showing that some of your fans are anti semitic, racist , xenophobic scum. dont start with the sol ******** argument because the abuse is directed at him and isnt racist or homophobic.

I doubt you'd find the same on a spurs site th. Sure we have our ******* but nothing like the numbers you have.

Last season I heard HUDREDS singing hitler will gas the jews so dont pretend its a minoroty thing with your away support.

Well references to the holocaust are absolutely disgusting and those fans should be banned. I've never heard that chant where i sit at UP (been a ST holder for 3 years) and if i did i'd be bloody embarrassed. Out of all the west ham fans i know, which is quite a few, there's not one who doesn't think that those sorts of songs are appalling.

Emphasis on the word 'some' here, you're generalising on the basis of a minority. Plus you have a section of scum supporters too, every club does, do you think its okay to sing 'we hope you get strung up on a tree' to sol campbell then? How about if i took that and generalised that all spurs fans are like that?

    These are the chants:

Sol, Sol, wherever you may be
You’re on the verge of lunacy
    And we don’t give a f*** if you’re hanging from a tree
    You Judas c*** with HIV.”

    He’s big
    He’s black
He takes it up the crack
    Sol Campbell, Sol Campbell.”

I don't really know how you can say those aren't racist or homophobic

I've heard the first onewhich is homophobic and I dont agree with it. The second one I've never heard and it more likely to be a media invention. I'm also a season ticket holder.

Btw the chants were sung at whl I've never been to upton park.
