Gap Year (re-applying)

are doing another couple of alevels, some maths modules and some maths tutoring, acceptable reasons for a gap year for then re-applying (after being rejected for maths)

any thoughts?

after being rejected from where? if this is a second attempt at oxbridge i think its a waste of time.

because you want to learn things properly... i.e. not exam coaching.

because you want to get life experience

because you f***ed up your oxbridge interview, when you did actually deserve a place

because its YOUR life, so do what you want, to get what you want... if you want oxbridge/(any specific uni)- GO FOR IT
