erm i prefere learning physical geography and am personally more interested in it but i find human geography much easier to talk about with people, and it can often make a very interesting convo.. if u mention rivers or air masses people just switch off.. lol!!
Whilst I am a Human Geographer by interest (for teaching) I confess to using my interest in Physical geog as a basis for holidays.... Iceland, India, Puy de Dome etc!
Soils have to be one of the DULLEST topics in geography. Sure, it's probably a vital and very well paid area , but if I ever have to spell the world podzollic again... (or is it podsollic?! GAH!)
