I take it nobody just took 0.04/0.03 and 0.03/0.03 as a 1:1 ratio like me then? :frown:

The more I think about my answers, the worse I keep thinking I've done!

The ones I kow I've lost marks on are

*Hess cycle one (H_c)
*Diagram
*Empirical formule
*Emission spectra (I'm just certain I have lost marks here)
*3 pos and 3 negs of using the equation

It was for the equation tbh, it was just a sort of short hand

What did you do for the Hc one?

Hc = products - reactants ? (it was Q 1b)

I think I added them.

But due to the signs it might have worked out that in the end, and a possible mistake that might in the end work in my favour

I got something in the region of -14__

Thank goodness it was negative though, thats a marking point for certain

I'm not quite sure how...but i checked it twice and i got a positive :s-smilie:

Oh well, I wasn't really expecting good marks from the calculation questions. I'm glad there was only a couple calculations :p:

Hmm, all i remembered is that H_c is always negative as it is exothermic

And I'm glad about the calculation questions as well :smile:

I woulda had a major problem had there been calculation questions one after the other... use the answer from part (i) to do part (ii) and (iii)... i would have cried.

Just a warning, there are a lot of them in the A2 module coming up

But I'll give them credit, that do talk you through it, they could just combine them if they wanted to be horrible

I don't seem to mind A2 as much, I struggled last year.. probably 'cos I didn't work from the off...

i got FeO since it was 0.03/0.03 for Fe which is 1 and then 0.04/0.03 for O which technically is 1 since its 1.33 and u round down

I think I messed this one up.

I got the diagram correct, the collecting of the gas one, but I forgot to put the catalyst, how many marks will I lose for that?

Any chance of someone listing the questions that we're in there?
