Unless you are doing Physics, D1 is by far the easiest.

D1 is so simple it's boring. M1 is the best non-pure module I've studied.

I'd take D1 because it's easier, tbh. M1 is a bit of a bitch... M2 on the other hand is piss easy. Edexcel, by the way.

M1 is really interesting, very relevant to life as well. Plus if you are doing physics it is pretty much done for you in that. D1 I haven't done yet, but looks pretty boring.

I find D1 quite interesting; doing it for AS Level now - and it's relevant to life too.

If you want to keep your soul intact, do M1.
If you want it completely destroyed, do D1.

I've only just started M1 but am finding it much more interesting than D1 - D1 is boring and you can lose a lot of marks over 1 silly little mistake

s2 was the most interesting in my opinion, but then again im not a physics-lover, so im a bit biased. D1 was dull (as seems the general consensus here!), and M1 is so-so. you either find m1 hard or not. but with a bit of good old fashioned practise through past papers, d1, and m1 are both easy enough

to be honest i dont it would *really* matter, just have a quick look at the text books and see which takes your fancy more? d1 id say is the most useless that ive found maths-wise. i reckon it would have helped me in my 1st year of my degree to do m2 and m3 instead of d1 and d2, but i did what my 6th form offered!

Don't do S2, M1 is much easier and much more enjoyable than S#. Unless of course you really want to learn all the probability distributions (Binomial, Poisson, PDFs, Rectangular) and really enjoyed S1. Seeing as you've already done Physics, M1 should be piss easy.

Having just sat the Edexcel M1 exam (some evil questions) I'd def say D1 if you just want the marks for a grade.

These are all assuming you do Edexcel:

D1:
Pros:
- very easy
- has a couple of mildly interesting applications

Cons:
- incredibly boring.
- it's easy to become complacent whilst learning it

M1:
Pros:
- it's very interesting as an introduction to mathematical models in physics.
- it's fun.

Cons:
- it's not that easy if you don't get your head round the basic concepts
- there's quite a bit to learn

S2
Pros:
- there's pretty much nothing in it, it's about 1/2 the size of a normal module, I self-taught it in about a week
- it's quite interesting
- it's easier than S1

Cons:
- I can't really think of any.

ne ne ne ne ne ne ne ne M 1 !!!!!!!!!!

Do M1, its by far the best, doesn't matter if you don't do physics, its like simpler than GCSE physics, just with a bit of calculus thrown in

D1 is east but soul destroyingly boring, you have no idea until you start to study it.

M1 again slightly harder but enjoyable to stuydy
