Default OCR English Lit Tomorrow
 
Anyone else doing this? The 45 minute, one question paper? If so, how are you revising? Im doing Death of a Salesman btw.

And i've revised by reading the play over and over again and my notes. Not helping though

I did this in June... And I did Death Of A Salesman and things fall apart...

Ummmmmmm... here's two of my essays for the questions both got A's.. Although OCR cocked up the marking of my DOAS essay so I have a lower mark than I should have had...... and also here's important quotes for the book...

Its important to read ALL the themes, know the book to be able to quote off hand, and make sure you plan your answer...

Make sure you know important literary terms... I found that picking 5 aspects to write about also helped..

Aren't you supposed to do your poetry and other fiction on another day? lol

I have that exam too.. Revising quite a bit. I'm doing 'The Caretaker' though, but still, I've just done a few practise questions and got the teacher to look over them and say what needs improving. To be completely honest, I've concentrated a lot more on other subjects.

Sugar i missed this thread and started another in the english section. Should i delete it? The exam was okay i thought but you never really know with english, its incredibly subjective. One guy improved his english mark by 20 marks - no kidding - after a remark. D mfc20 how did you find it?

Thought it went ok pal, not too bad. Didnt make my answer too overly complicated but made it quite simple and controlled. You never know! Hope it goes ok! And wtf thats insane, was it English Lit?

yeah same, although i tried to make mine quite complicated but it don't matter i guess (i hope ). yeah it was aqa though. you're from Middlesbrough aswell nice one . you have that Chemistry tommorow?
