Hi all,

I would be grateful if you could post a website on half equations so that I can get practice...

Or even if you have them in an exercise book and you just post it on, that'll be fine.

Thanks

You know what, just try to think of most chemical reactions you have come across so far, that involves aqueous solutions, sure there are plenty to think about.

More complicated ones involve the MnO4-, Cr2O72-, ClO4-, etc...

Best of luck

its ClO3- ...

try H5IO6 ======> IO3-

seriously though, all you need to do is work out the oxidation states on the main atom and add sufficient electrons to account for the OS change, and H+'s and waters to account for any oxygens that might be there.

make sure charges balance both sides, if not, you've made a mistake.
